How does it work?

Despite the name, this is not a traditional greasy oil, but a carefully formulated mixture based on a fine talc substance. As soon as you apply a thin strip of this mixture to the top edge of the enclosure, ants lose their grip when they try to climb the edge. They simply slide back into the outworld.

You can easily apply the mixture with a cotton swab or cotton bud. Once applied, the barrier remains effective for a long time — under normal circumstances, you only need to refresh the layer after several months to even a full year!

User tips for optimal performance:
• Smooth surfaces: Exclusively for use on smooth glass or plastic (acrylic) walls.
• Avoid corners: Apply the barrier to straight, smooth sections. In the right-angle corners of an enclosure, ants can sometimes still find just enough grip; ensure that the corners are extra carefully covered or rounded.
• Maintenance: For very large, highly active colonies or areas with high humidity, it is advisable to wipe the barrier clean and reapply it more frequently.
