Ant Care & Nutrition – Everything for a Healthy and Active Colony

Terramat Heating Mat (130x274 mm / 5W) – Reliable Heat Source for Terrariums

A constant and comfortable temperature is essential for the health, activity, and digestion of terrarium animals, insects, and amphibians. The **Terramat heating mat** is known worldwide for its excellent quality and reliable heat output. With a wattage of just 5 Watts, you can heat the enclosure in an extremely energy-efficient and controlled manner.

Even Heat Distribution & Natural Temperature Zones

Thanks to its elongated size of 130 by 274 mm, this mat is ideally suited for heating a specific part of the terrarium's bottom or back wall. This is very important: by not covering the entire enclosure, a natural temperature gradient (a warm zone and a cooler zone) is created. This allows animals to choose the spot that best suits their needs at any given moment.

Safe, Durable & Ready to Use

The Terramat is finished with a strong, durable, and UV-resistant outer wall that ensures optimal and even heat conduction over the entire surface. The mat is equipped with an integrated 1.40-meter connection cable with a molded plug and is ready for immediate use. Of course, the product complies with the strictest European safety standards (EN60335-1 / EN60335-2-96, Class II IPX4).

Suitable for breeding and care of:

• Reptiles and amphibians (such as small lizards, geckos, and frogs)
• Stick insects, leaf insects, and praying mantises
• Breeding cages, net cages, and egg incubation setups
• Various other insects, spiders, and terrarium inhabitants

Handy Usage Tips:

• Placement: For bottom heating, place the mat under the enclosure and ensure the terrarium stands on small feet so that the accumulated heat can dissipate properly.
• Temperature Control: The heating mat can be used immediately. For animals that require a very specific temperature, the mat can be excellently combined with dimmers, rod thermostats, or digital thermostat controllers.

Product Specifications:

• Mat dimensions: 130 x 274 mm (13 x 27.4 cm)
• Power: 5 Watts
• Voltage: 230 Volts
• Connection cable length: 1.40 meters (with molded plug)
• Heat distribution: Even over the entire surface

Protect Your Ant Farm with 100% Pure Distilled Water (330ml)

Humidifying an ant farm is essential for the survival of your colony, but tap water often contains limescale and minerals. Distilled Water 330ml has been specially selected for safe and clean humidification of plaster nests, acrylic nests, sand/loam farms, and outworlds.

Prevent Limescale and Clogs

Using ordinary tap water often leads to a white limescale buildup on the glass or in the nesting material over time. This not only obstructs the view of your ants but can also clog the fine channels of the humidification system. Distilled water is completely free of limescale and mineral salts, ensuring your nest wall and humidification system remain perfectly clean and clear.

Safe for Your Ant Colony

In addition to preventing limescale, pure distilled water provides a hygienic moisture source. It helps reduce the risk of unwanted mold and bacterial growth in the humidification chambers. With the compact 330ml bottle, you have an ideal supply on hand that you can easily dispense with a pipette or syringe.

The Benefits at a Glance:

• 100% Pure: Free from limescale, minerals, chlorine, and other additives.
• No Limescale: Keeps the view of the nest and the glass crystal clear.
• Prevents Clogging: Maintains optimal functioning of sponges, plaster, and humidification reservoirs.
• Convenient Size: Compact 330ml packaging, easy to use for every ant keeper.

Give your ant colony the cleanest living environment and extend the lifespan of your ant farm with this pure distilled water!

Stainless Steel Petrol Mesh (50x50 cm) – Ultra Fine Ventilation and Maximum Security

Good ventilation is essential in an ant farm to prevent mold growth and excessive humidity. However, standard mesh and grilles are often too coarse for the smallest ant species. Our **stainless steel petrol mesh** offers the ultimate solution: an extremely fine weave that allows fresh air to pass through, but no ant can get through!

Extremely Fine Mesh Size for the Smallest Species

With a wire thickness of 0.16 mm and a minuscule mesh size of only **0.26 x 0.26 mm**, this petrol mesh is one of the most reliable barriers in the ant-keeping hobby. It is ideal for DIY enthusiasts who build their own outworld, lid, or nest ventilation.

Durable Stainless Steel of Ample Size

The mesh is made of high-quality stainless steel (RVS), which means it will not rust due to moisture in the ant enclosure. Thanks to the generous size of **50 x 50 cm**, you will have more than enough material to make multiple ventilation grilles or cover a large arena lid.

Please note upon delivery: Due to the generous dimensions of this piece of petrol mesh (50x50 cm), it will be shipped folded. This may result in some creases in the material. However, the mesh is easy to cut to size and process neatly into the desired shape.

Key Advantages at a Glance:

• 100% Escape-proof: Mesh size of 0.26 mm stops even the smallest ant species.
• Optimal ventilation: Ensures healthy air circulation without humidity rising dangerously high.
• High-quality Stainless Steel: Rust-free, durable, and resistant to moist conditions.
• Generous size (50x50 cm): Enough surface area for multiple DIY projects and arena lids.
• Easy to cut to size: Easily cut with sturdy scissors or tin snips.

Terramat Heating Mat (150x520 mm / 12W) – Reliable Heat Source for Terrariums

A constant and comfortable temperature is essential for the health, activity, and digestion of terrarium animals, insects, and amphibians. The **Terramat heating mat** is known worldwide for its excellent quality and reliable heat output. With a power of 12 Watts, you can heat larger or elongated enclosures in an extremely energy-efficient and controlled manner.

Even Heat Distribution & Natural Temperature Zones

Thanks to its long, slender size of 150 by 520 mm, this mat is ideally suited for heating a specific part of the bottom or back wall of an elongated terrarium. This is very important: by not covering the entire enclosure, a natural thermal gradient is created (a warm zone and a cooler zone). Animals can then choose the spot that best suits their needs at any given moment.

Safe, Durable & Ready to Use

The Terramat is finished with a strong, durable, and UV-resistant outer wall that ensures optimal and even heat conduction across the entire surface. The mat is equipped with an integrated 1.40-meter connection cable with a molded plug and is ready for immediate use. Naturally, the product complies with the strictest European safety standards (EN60335-1 / EN60335-2-96, Class II IPX4).

Suitable for breeding and caring for:

• Reptiles and amphibians (such as lizards, geckos, snakes, and frogs)
• Stick insects, leaf insects, and praying mantises
• Larger breeding cages, net cages, and egg-hatching setups
• Various other insects, spiders, and terrarium inhabitants

Handy usage tips:

• Placement: For bottom heating, attach the mat underneath the enclosure and ensure the terrarium stands on small feet so that the accumulated heat can dissipate properly.
• Temperature control: The heating mat is ready for immediate use. For animals that require a very specific temperature, the mat can be excellently combined with dimmers, rod thermostats, or digital thermostat controllers.

Product specifications:

• Mat dimensions: 150 x 520 mm (15 x 52 cm)
• Power: 12 Watt
• Voltage: 230 Volt
• Connection cable length: 1.40 meters (with molded plug)
• Heat distribution: Even across the entire surface
• Safety certification: EN60335-1 / EN60335-2-96, Class II IPX4
