Red Protection Film (10x6 cm) – Observe your ants without disturbing them

One of the most enjoyable aspects of ant keeping is observing the queen and the development of the brood. However, ants naturally dig their nests deep underground in complete darkness. Direct white light causes stress, which can lead the queen to stop laying eggs. With this **special red protection film**, you can cleverly solve this problem!

How does red film work for ants?

Ants lack the eye receptors to perceive red light. As soon as you cover the test tube nest with this red film, it filters out the light visible to ants. For the colony, it feels as if they are in a pitch-dark underground chamber, while you can effortlessly look inside through the transparent red film!

Ready to use & multifunctional

The film comes in a handy size of **100 x 60 mm (10 x 6 cm)**, which is exactly the right size to easily wrap around or stick to a standard test tube. The film is not only ideal for daily observation in the ant enclosure but also offers excellent protection and peace during the transport of a colony.

Key benefits at a glance:

• Stress-free observation: Ants believe themselves to be in the dark, while you maintain perfect visibility of the nest.
• Perfect size (10x6 cm): Ready to wrap around a culture tube.
• Ideal for transport: Provides the colony with the necessary peace during shipping or relocation.
• Easy to use: Simple to attach with a small piece of tape or an elastic band.

Product specifications:

• Type: Red blackout film / Protection film
• Length: 100 mm (10 cm)
• Width: 60 mm (6 cm)
• Application: Test tube nests, transport tubes, and small nest sections

Enjoy optimal visibility of your ants without disturbing them.

Feeder Tower XL (15 ml) – Generous capacity for larger colonies and long vacations

As your ant colony grows, so does its need for liquid food and hydration. Small reservoir tubes quickly run dry. With the **Feeder Tower XL**, you offer your ants a generous supply of sugar water or honeydew that they can drink from for weeks, without it drying out or becoming contaminated quickly.

Smart gravity-based operation

The Feeder Tower XL consists of a robust, transparent glass test tube of no less than 15 ml, which is simply placed upside down on the sturdy, specially designed base. Due to the vacuum and gravity effect, a small, safe layer of liquid continuously remains in the drinking opening. As soon as the ants drink, the reservoir automatically replenishes it.

Worry-free on vacation

Are you going on vacation for a longer period or do you have a colony with hundreds of workers? Thanks to the large capacity of 15 ml, you no longer have to worry about daily refilling of liquids. The liquid in the glass tube remains well protected against evaporation.

Key advantages at a glance:

• Generous 15 ml capacity: Perfect for larger, fast-growing ant colonies.
• Automatic gravity-based dispensing: Automatically refills the drinking opening when ants drink from it.
• 100% Safe: Designed to prevent drowning of workers.
• Against evaporation: The sealed 15 ml glass reservoir keeps food and moisture fresh for much longer.
• Easy to clean: The glass tube and base can be quickly and easily rinsed clean after use.

Suitable for offering:

• Ready-to-use sugar water and liquid sugar solutions
• Honeydew and diluted nectars
• Clean drinking water / hydration

Product specifications:

• Reservoir capacity: 15 ml

V-Connector (10 mm) – Create tight right-angle turns in your ant setup

Do you want to connect your ant farms, nests, and outworlds in a compact and neat way? With this high-quality V-shaped connector (90-degree angle), you can easily guide the connecting hose in the right direction. This prevents flexible hoses from bending or kinking, ensuring optimal passage for your ants at all times!

Maximum grip thanks to clever ribbed structure

The V-connector is specially designed with a ribbed profile on both ends. As soon as you slide the hose over it, the material clamps firmly around the ribs. This ensures a robust, leak-free, and 100% escape-proof connection.

Natural expansion and smart space utilization

In nature, ants create numerous right-angled tunnels and branches underground. With this V-connector, you not only recreate this naturally but also make efficient use of the space on your desk or cabinet. Ideal for guiding hoses tightly along the walls of your ant farm or arena.

Key advantages at a glance:

• 90 Degree Angle: Allows for right-angle connections without the hose kinking or blocking the passage.
• Firm Grip: Ribbed design ensures the hose remains tightly and securely attached.
• Perfect Fit: Designed for hoses with an outer diameter of 10 mm (ultimate combination with our 8/10 mm transparent hose).
• Escape-Proof: Connects seamlessly so that even the smallest ants cannot squeeze through.

Product specifications:

• Type: V-shaped connector (90-degree right-angle hose connector)
• Inner diameter of connector: Slightly less than 10 mm (for a tight-fitting connection)
• Compatibility: Suitable for hoses with a 10 mm outer diameter (8/10 mm connecting hose)
• Application: Making right-angle connections between ant farms, nests, and arenas

Make your ant setup perfectly fitting and kink-free.

Ventilated Test Tube Cap – Safe, breathable and reusable

Are you raising a young ant colony in a test tube or preparing your ants for hibernation? Then this ventilated test tube cap is the perfect upgrade for your rearing setup! Using cotton wool as a seal can sometimes be difficult when feeding or can quickly get dirty. This sturdy plastic cap offers a hygienic, reusable and professional alternative.

Maximum ventilation without escape risk

The cap is equipped with a fine-mesh ventilation grille that ensures a continuous supply of fresh air into the nest tube. This creates a healthy microclimate without the air becoming stale. At the same time, the cap seals the opening so precisely that even small workers cannot squeeze through.

Ideal for young colonies and hibernation

When a queen has just produced her first workers, care and feeding usually take place inside the test tube. With this cap, you can open and close the tube in an instant to offer a drop of sugar water or a small insect. Furthermore, the cap is extremely suitable during hibernation, when ants need extra rest and stable air circulation.

Key benefits at a glance:

• Continuously Breathable: Equipped with a fine ventilation grille for optimal oxygen supply.
• 100% Escape-proof: Keeps queens and workers safely inside the breeding tube.
• Reusable & Hygienic: Durable alternative to cotton wool, easy to clean.
• Quick Feeding: Easy to place and remove for daily or weekly care.
• Wide Compatibility: Perfectly fits Test Tube Size M and L (up to 18 mm diameter).

The lid is equipped with a fine-mesh ventilation grid that ensures a constant supply of fresh air and helps prevent mold and moisture buildup. At the same time, the mesh openings are small enough to prevent fruit flies, small spiders, or praying mantis nymphs from escaping.

Easy to set up and clean

Thanks to its generous diameter of 9 cm, you can effortlessly apply a layer of substrate and a portion of wood wool. Is your breeding finished? The pot is made of sturdy, durable plastic, making it easy to rinse and reuse for your next breeding cycle!

A beautifully decorated outworld or terrarium makes observing your ants and insects even more enjoyable. With these **small decorative stones**, you can easily add structure, depth, and a luxurious, natural atmosphere to the habitat.

Safe, functional, and varied

In addition to their optical ornamental value, stones also serve a practical function for your animals. Ants and small insects enjoy using the elevated areas as lookouts, warming spots, or to transport food around. Because the stones vary in size, a playful and varied landscape is created that is almost indistinguishable from a real piece of nature.

Suitable for any type of habitat

Whether you are furnishing an acrylic outworld, a plaster ant farm, a glass terrarium, or a sand nest: these decorative stones are 100% safe and suitable for all types of insect habitats. They do not release harmful substances and are easy to rinse clean during maintenance.

Red Protection Film (21x14 cm) – Effective blackout for your ant farm

Ants build their natural tunnel systems deep underground, where it is completely dark. Direct light on the nest area causes stress, which can lead to the queen laying fewer eggs or the workers becoming restless. With our self-adhesive red protection film, you can easily give your ants the shelter and peace they need.

Perfectly matched to the Master General & Universe Saturn

The film comes in a convenient size of 210 x 140 mm (21 x 14 cm), making it a perfect fit for the nest area of ant farms such as the Master General and the Universe Saturn.

How does red film work for ants?

The visual spectrum of ants does not contain receptors for red light. Therefore, for the colony, a nest area covered with red film feels like a dark underground chamber. Because the adhesive film darkens quite strongly, you create a very stable and safe environment for the brood and the queen!

User tip: We advise covering a significant part of the nest with the red film for the ants' peace, but possibly leaving a small part uncovered. Because the film darkens strongly, observation becomes slightly more difficult — which is very nice for the ants — but by leaving a small piece free, you always maintain a quick glance at the activity! Is your ant farm larger? Simply order multiple copies.

Key benefits at a glance:

• Maximum stress reduction: Ants imagine themselves in the dark, which stimulates colony development.
• Precisely sized (21x14 cm): Specially adapted for the Master General and Universe Saturn.
• Self-adhesive & User-friendly: Easy and neatly adheres to the outside of the nest part.
• 100% Customizable: Easily trimmed with scissors for screws or specific shapes.
• Universally applicable: Also suitable for other acrylic, plaster, or plastic ant farms.

Product specifications:

• Type: Self-adhesive red blackout film / Adhesive film
• Length: 210 mm (21 cm)
• Width: 140 mm (14 cm)
• Compatibility: Ant farm Master General, Universe Saturn (or can be cut to size)
• Application: Darkening and protecting the nest area

Give your ants the peace of an underground nest. Order the red protection adhesive film (21x14 cm) today!

Feeding Tray – Clean, organized, and hygienic feeding in the outworld

Keeping the outworld clean is essential for a healthy ant colony. Residues of sugar water, honeydew, or insects lying directly on the formicarium floor can quickly mold or severely soil the substrate. With this **practical Feeding Tray**, you can offer all types of food neatly, clearly, and hygienically.

Clever recess for controlled feeding

The tray features a round recess (1 cm diameter) where you can easily place a drop of sugar water, honeydew, gelly, or a small insect. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the tray fits effortlessly into any outworld or arena from our range. Is the meal finished? Then you can easily remove the plastic tray to rinse and reuse it.

Important safety tip for liquid food: When offering sugar water or honeydew in the recess, always use a small tuft of cotton! Soak the cotton in the liquid. This way, ants can drink safely and in a controlled manner without getting stuck or drowning in the drop.

Key benefits at a glance:

• Clean & Hygienic: Prevents liquids and prey from contaminating the outworld floor.
• Convenient recess: Keeps liquids, gels, and snacks neatly in one fixed spot.
• Universally fitting: Compact design that can be placed in any Ant Farm outworld.
• Easy to clean: Fully rinsable and durably reusable.

Y-Connector (10 mm) – Smooth and Natural Branching for Your Ant Setup

Do you want to give your ant colony more foraging opportunities and connect two outworlds or expansion nests to one main nest? With this high-quality Y-shaped connector, you can create a streamlined split in your tubing network. The gradual angle of the Y-shape ensures a smooth pathway that ants can effortlessly navigate!

Maximum Grip Thanks to Smart Ribbed Structure

The Y-connector features a ribbed profile on all three connection points. When you slide the connecting tube over the ends, the material clamps firmly around the ribs. This guarantees a robust, leak-proof connection that even the smallest ants cannot escape from.

Optimal Flow and Natural Behavior

Unlike right-angled splits, the oblique angle of the Y-shape reduces blockages during busy routes, for example, when worker ants massively transport food to the nest. Additionally, it simulates the natural, angled branching that ants dig underground.

Key Benefits at a Glance:

• Smooth Y-Split: Enables a gradual 3-way branching for optimal worker flow.
• Secure Grip: Ribbing ensures the tubing remains tight, clamped, and securely attached.
• Perfect Fit: Designed for tubing with an outer diameter of 10 mm (ultimate combination with our 8/10 mm transparent tubing).
• Escape-Proof: Connects seamlessly for maximum colony safety.

Product Specifications:

• Type: Y-shaped connector / Y-tube connector
• Inner diameter of connector: Slightly less than 10 mm (for a secure, clamped connection)

Terramat Heat Mat (100x150 mm / 2.5W) – Ideal heat source for your ant colony

A stable and pleasant temperature is one of the most important factors for the rapid and healthy development of an ant colony or insect population. The **Terramat heat mat** is the most well-known and purchased heating mat worldwide for ant farms, terrariums, insectariums, and vivariums. Thanks to its even heat distribution, the nest or substrate is heated gradually and in a very controlled manner.

Faster colony development & natural heat zones

With this compact size of 100 by 150 mm, you can precisely heat a part of the ant farm (suitable for acrylic nests, plaster nests, and sand nests). This is crucial: because the entire nest is not heated, the ants have the freedom to choose between a warmer or cooler spot. The brood (eggs, larvae, and pupae) develops significantly faster in a warm place, ensuring strong growth for your colony!

Safe, durable & ready to use immediately

The Terramat heat mat is made of a strong, durable, and UV-resistant outer wall that distributes heat evenly over the entire surface. The mat requires no preheating and works directly on mains power thanks to the molded plug. Furthermore, the mat complies with the strictest European safety standards (EN60335-1 / EN60335-2-96, Class II IPX4).

Suitable for breeding and caring for:

• Ant colonies (acrylic nests, plaster nests, sand nests, and 3D nests)
• Stick insects and leaf insects (also ideal for hatching eggs in a breeding cage)
• Praying mantises
• Other small insects, reptiles, and arthropods

Important usage tips:

• Placement with ant farms: Always heat a maximum of 30% to 50% of the nest area, so that ants can always move to a cooler zone.
• Caution with test tubes: Never place a heat mat directly under a founding tube/test tube with a water reservoir. This can lead to condensation and overheating.
• Temperature control: In most cases, the mat can be used directly. Do you want to precisely control the temperature? The mat can be perfectly combined with dimmers, rod thermostats, or digital thermostat controllers.

Product specifications:

• Mat dimensions: 100 x 150 mm (10 x 15 cm)
• Power: 2.5 Watt
• Voltage: 230 Volt
• Connection cable length: 1.40 meters (with molded plug)
• Heat distribution: Even over the entire surface
• Safety certification: EN60335-1 / EN60335-2-96, Class II IPX4
