You can grow your own butterflies in the butterfly garden. Above you can choose to have the caterpillars shipped by us (only on our website!) between March and September. We arrange that you immediately receive the caterpillars with your order. You can get started right away with the wonderful process from caterpillar to butterfly!

Shipping and care

Usually after shipment you will receive about 7-10 fresh caterpillars and the special food sent to your home.
The time of shipment of the caterpillars may vary, normally we aim to ship them the same day if ordered before 4.30 pm. If this turns out differently, you will receive a message from us. The shipment of the caterpillars is separate from the shipment of the breeding net. The caterpillars are shipped by our breeder from England. When the caterpillars are shipped, we will notify you separately after your order, once shipped by our grower, delivery is within 1-2 weeks.

Now you can really get started. You can breed butterflies from March to September. The aim is that 10 caterpillars will be sent, the guarantee is that you will receive at least 7 and that these are grown into healthy butterflies.

First the caterpillars get their own food (provided) so that they can grow well. They then hang upside down in crystal-like spun cocoons. In the last phase they turn into beautiful butterflies. Observe them for a few days and then release them.

Use

The butterfly garden is reusable and after the fledging of the butterflies it's also a perfect stay for other insects such as ladybugs, praying mantises or walking sticks.
